The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Consultant to join our Net Zero & Sustainability Transition team, specializing in carbon markets. In this role, you will work with corporate clients, financial institutions, and government entities to design and implement carbon strategies that support decarbonization, emissions reductions, and climate solutions.

This role is for individuals with a deep understanding of carbon markets, a passion for climate action, and the ability to translate complex policy and financial mechanisms into actionable business strategies. Someone who has expertise in carbon pricing, carbon credit trading, and compliance with international frameworks would definitely be suitable for this role.

What you’ll be up to in this role

• Manage and deliver projects on carbon markets and sustainability related.
• Lead end-to-end project management, including project planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
• Identify collaboration and partnership opportunities in carbon markets through networking, events, workshops, and conferences.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and clients, including private sector stakeholders, government bodies, and international organizations.
• Monitor and interpret global, regional, and national developments in carbon market and climate finance policies.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of capacity-building programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions on carbon markets and climate finance.
• Support cross-functional net zero & sustainability initiatives.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, Public Policy, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in carbon markets, sustainability consulting, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of the global, national, and regional carbon markets, including its regulatory landscape.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
• Strong client and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience managing relationships with international stakeholders is a plus point.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality work with strong attention to detail.
• Adaptability to changing conditions with effective time management and problem-solving skills.
